ABOUT

About Mark L. Sargent

Construction Strategist | Land Development Expert | Operational Leader

Mark L. Sargent’s story begins with a set of tools in hand and a vision for what land could become. Over the course of 35 years, he has transformed raw ground into thriving properties, guiding projects from blueprint to reality with precision and care.

From residential foundations to complex commercial builds, Mark has mastered every stage of construction. His expertise extends far beyond the job site into the planning, permitting, and operational strategies that ensure projects succeed not just today, but for generations.

As Montana Land Consulting grew, so did the scope of Mark’s work. He began weaving together construction with land stewardship, offering clients a full spectrum of services: property research, revenue stream development, capital expenditure projections, annual operating plans, and sustainability strategies.           His work touches every detail including wildland mitigation, wildlife management, GIS solutions, and even noxious weed analysis, because he believes true value lies in seeing the whole picture.

Mark’s leadership style is rooted in collaboration and accountability. He builds teams that take pride in craftsmanship, and he approaches every project with integrity and innovation. For him, success isn’t just measured in structures built or land improved, it’s measured in the lasting impact those projects create for families, communities, and the land itself.
